Giving New Mexico Wildlife a Second Chance

Founded in 1981 and supported by donations, our mission has always been to give injured wildlife a second chance in the state of New Mexico. We provide this service at no cost to the public.

RESCUE, REHABILITATE, RELEASE, AND EDUCATE

RESCUE

Displaced wildlife are rescued by concerned people coming to their aid

REHABILITATE

Animals are rehabilitated back to health by volunteers and trained handlers

RELEASE

Animals are released once they are healthy and cleared to return to the wild

EDUCATE

The WRINM team educates on common threats and dangers to wildlife

Wildlife Rescue, Inc. of NM is located inside the Rio Grande Nature Center State Park. From I-40 go North on Rio Grande Blvd. then West on Candelaria, at the dead end turn right into the park, and then left to the Clinic.
